i just bought 4 sata drives for me and a couple friends. we'll see how it goes. i already got the confirmation emails.

yeah i just saw that, but i figured, $27 a drive, what's the worst that can happen? they'll cancel the orders and i won't lose anything, but if it goes through, i would have a fast sata drive for $27. and if it sucks, it can go to ebay.
edit: lostspyder, you have pm's. 
man good luck on that, cause $27 i've got, $127 i don't. if they really ship it out, this is perhaps the best deal that ever existed since the louisiana purchase. but i can't take the risk of losing rent money if they charge full price on my card. 
but let me know if you get a shipping/tracking confirmation, i will be all over this.

yeah, it was posted in one of the threads first. i read it, posted the info here, then bought 4 drives.
it was later posted on the main page by one of the mods who was following the thread.
also.... all orders which were done (and eventually confirmed) are being cancelled
shame.... i read that some ppl bought like... 6 200Gb drives and 2 160gb to go with it lol
