Solution For Od .75/.85 Not Opening Folders/drives

Do you have the problem with ObjectDock .75/.85 not opening folders/drives with one click, too?

Well, i found a solution/work-around for that:

1. Open the properties of your dock item.

2. Cut out the link to your folder/drive and paste it into the "Arguments:" box.

3. Write "explorer" (without quotation marks) into the "Link:" box.

This is what it should look like now:

ODExplorer.jpg

4. Hit OK.

The shortcut should now open with just one click on it as it supposed to be.:)

Hope it works for all of you like it does for me.

Thanks man works much better now.

(doing this does reset the default view for that folder ((thumnail/filmstrip/etc)) but it's easy to change it back. After which it remembers.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As soon as I run into that problem again which will be very soon I'm going to try it. Thanks for such an important tip.

This is a curious problem, for me it is fixed by restarting the dock. The only thing I can think is setting OD to run at a higher priority.

It seems as though the communication between the OS and OD depends on how important the OS feels the program (OD) is. Restarting it moves OD back into a priority state as a new program (process).

for WindowsXP I think it is "iexplore" rather than "explorer". Anyhow both work. -- Got a similar solution for launching webpages ?
