Could you not try finding your Location ID (i.e. the numeric value) by visiting weather.com in your native language and then enter it into the script manually?

I'm not sure if that is to do with language differences Panther, in fact, I don't think that error has anything to do with Weather.com at all, because it seems there are errors in the vbs file itself.
The only time that happens to me is when i'm editing scripts and make stupid typos or leave unresolved issues within the script.
Leave it with me for a couple of days and I'll post up a simple trimmed down 'test' script that you can use to see if weather.com works.
What's your location (not your id but location: germany, japan, timbuktoo? you can pm me if you feel its more appropriate).

No seriously, I plan on releasing my milk version (screenshot in above post), but as I can't find (neverless ask) the person who created the original konfab images, I can't release that version.
I'm just working on getting animation and mouse-over working for some skin, so it might take a while.

About the creator of the original Weather Widget: I think he's called Ario Rose. I could be wrong tho. I'm booting my iBook so that I can tell you what I can read the widget's credit screen.
