[suggestion] Had An Idea About Images And News

Hello Boardies!

Ever since i became a newsposter ive thought that images are in a lot of cases a very nice thing to add on the news, however, it is usually the case that releases come with a huge preview which is obviously not suitable for the frontpage.

I have more than once donwloaded the image, cropped it and then reuploaded it to my server to attach a size concious iamge to the newspost. However, this is very tiem consuming and some of the newsposters might not have a host to which upload the images.

I would like then to suggest and run by you of course that from now on, if you want to release something with a representative teaser image of no more than 250 x 60 pixels (im open to suggestions here obviously), please attach one to the post so us newsposters can use it to make your app/icon/wall/whatever a lot more attention gathering on teh frontpage.

If the mods/admins think this is not a viable solution, or just think im way offbase i will very gladly delete this thread.

Got a better idea, I've been trying to for the past 6 months, find a decent cms for aquasoft to use, we'll have section icons like themes and all, then you can show little previews like that easily.

Hmm no, i dont think so viper, i don thin kis necessary but it would be good to have previews from now onwards
