Big Icon Problem

OK, so i did the registry hack to get my desktop icons to 128x128, now they look great. Unfortunatly in the Open/Save dialog boxes, to the left in them, where they show the Desktop,Computer,Documents icons, they are ALSO 128x128.(which is waaay to big) First: Is this suppose to happen, and Second: Can this be fixed while still keeping the desktop at 128x128.

I have the very same problem. It cannot be undone without setting the icons back to their default icon size (48pixel)

This is supposed to happen and can be easily turned off using TweakUI....Go through the dialogs in TweakUI. You will see an option called Hide Places Bar. Check the box and voila!! it's gone...

I just set the icons back to 48x48. I found that the big icons slowed my system down, and i cant afford to have it do that.

Plus, i like the places bar and i needed the desktop real estate.

still....... My icons looked nifty for 2 days.

Question: What do all of you set your icon size to?

64x64 icons appear very nice on my desktop 1280x1024 with 19" monitor :lol:
