Aqua-Soft Forumsyou know how the aqua taskbar on mac really works right? well i'd like a taskbar to be part of y'z dock. like have the starting icons, the task bar(holding minimized apps, not currently seen ones), and then the system icons.

unfortunately, y'z dock is no longer being developed, but there are some solutions.
you can have a script to add the start menu to the dock.
there's a docklet that keeps tabs on the running tasks (like the taskbar).
but afaik, there's no tray docklet, but maybe one is in the works.
i know what you mean, but i don't need a systray in the dock. i want seperate icons for each app that's minimized to be in a section of the dock. thats pretty much it.
basically if you can't do it yourself... you ain't gettin it! 
Y'z Dock is no longer in production cos Mr.Y got sued by Apple (cos it's so like the original Apple Aqua Dock). The last release was 0.8.3 but we're not allowed to tell you where to get it (cos then we and the site it's on will get sued).
ok that covers everything. It's like dreamz sed you can get the popup taskbar from www.dockex.com but it's still in beta so you might wanna wait a bit. Hope I could help. (Y)
if you really don't want to wait for further docklet development (the docklet features a pop up, as infinity said, showing the running tasks. it does not show all the icons of the running tasks), then use objectdock or mobydock. they feature (not sure about mobydock) running tasks.
They do feature running tasks but I think he wants only minimized tasks to show up in the dock just like the mac dock. Running tasks are indicated by the arrow.

ahh i see. then no dock currently has that feature.
as for the arrow, well, it only appears if you have that particular application on your dock.
