Hein`s Ripped Icons - Adnx Aplogised (poorly)

Their pathetic excuse for an excuse

In a very, very bad english, they aplogised to Hein, but still claim it was cause his way of distributing icons was bad! Morons still put the balme on Hein!

These guys are pricks and if i ever get a Mac (and i will) i will never buy any of their progs, no matter what!

But i think this at least showed what communitys (not just our own AS others helped Hein too) can do when they want to help. Let us now hope that Hein won`t stop making icons for good.

I wanted the Kill Bill set on his site

#101436

To think that they still have the nerve to claim that it was the artist's fault. Do they know no shame at all?

Oh. Oh yea... if they do know it, they would probably have not done what they did in the first place. Excuse my question.

Forgive my rant, everyone. I just empathised with Hein, and I can imagine how he would be feeling now.

@Hein: We understand what you've gone through. It must have been tough for you all these while. Please do not give up making icons simply because of what some ignorant fools have done. However, we shall still respect your decision in whatever you choose from this point on.

@Unbeliever: You're right. As a community, we have enough support to make things happen.

Good work to those who have made ADNX apologise. Though I doubt they are sincere about it, but at least things are happening.

#101470

Ugh I'm still waiting for Hein to sue them. That is a pathetic attempt at an apology, and to blame the artist for them using his work! What morons.

#101480

I agree. I will never buy any of their software. Ever. Hein's icons are some of the best icons I have seen anywhere on the internet. But I respect your decision. Good luck :)

#101536

Just because they have not really apologised, and all they have done is make an excuse saying that thay have done nothing wrong and that Hein is in the wrong (bastards), I have decided, if Hein would be willing, to try and get my magazine (Computer Shopper - The UKs biggest selling computer monthly) to let me write a short piece on this travesty. There is no way adnx should be allowed to get off so lightly... And with that "apology" as a kick in the teeth to Hein after all they have done ILLEGALY.

If anyone would be interested in seeing me write such a piece, then please let me know here. I can't be sure that they will let me do it, (Computer Shopper is primarily a PC magazine), but if not I *may* be able to get it published in a sister mag or something.

Cheers. Hein, if you'd be willing, get back to me :)

Ugh I'm still waiting for Hein to sue them.

Does Hein live in France? Because that is where adnX is centralized.

I love the "About MixthePix Icons - Read the Truth" title that they have linking to the page. Ignorance, it's stronger that you think.

#101675

go for it. i live in america, though so post it online too. i would like to read it.

Now c'mon guys... the only way we can really come out on top for Hein here is if we take the moral high-ground. Yes, what they did was wronq, and feel free to admonish them for that. Yes, the icons that they use now are no where near as good as the (ripped) ones that they used before, and I wonder why? Yes, the way in which they have handled this whole debacle has been horrid... But lets stick to legitimate criticism and not idle insults, please? It won't help our cause or Hein out one little bit... (Plus it looks a bit silly in a thread about something that's actually really serious <_<)

Cheers,

adnx have updated their "Read the truth about MixthePix icons !" page.

Now has a bit on the end saying they have "Since today, we started a law action for slandering, attack to the private life

and criminal actions. We preserve our evidence for the justice

which will say where is the truth !"

#137963

And they got some new crapy icons

#137978

#141316

Oh my god guys, theyve updated it 3 days ago.

Go follow the link again for their new excuse.

This is horrible :6

#145409

hahaha, this cracks me up:

"6. The artist doesn't say that it joined to a former employee fired for serious fault.

This employee seeks to be avenged by making illegal things.

If the artist is honest, why did it join dishonest person ?"
