hey i kinda got this idea from kurt871 and objectdock
there's a program for osx that allows you to minimize to desk (instead of taskbar) and it creates a mini screenshot

i found a program that kinda does something like that here but without the screenshot:
i figured if someone could get the functionality of objectdock tasbar with this desktop minimizing thing without the memory footprint of objectdock, this would be one phatty app. any ideas? anyone want to develop this mofo?
i believe there was an app someone made a way back, but i think he stopped developing it, im not sure where the thread is tho

anybody know of any alternatives to TaskPicture?
as of late, i just use object dock in conjunction with my y'z since i don't want both tasks and shortcuts to be in the same area
so the only thing on my od is the task function
running both might not last long though, cause it's sucking up all my memory
i'm going to give taskpicture a try. anyone know a way to disable the taskbar (but not hide it)? is that something that objectbar does, i haven't travlled down that road yet...
@swisher - what is the Mac program that does that called? Or is it built into the OS?

but i'd have to stick with objectdock--taskpicture is kinda buggy and it takes up just as much mem as OD
however, if saqla every decides to continue dev, it has potential to wupp arse

TRUE... it is one of the coolest app i`ve never seen before in this place !!!!

another kind of programm that use the same tip is SIWU's IeX0.3 (in developpement), it's an exposé like.

the problem of programs like OD and TackPicture2 is the resources... TP2 takes many many resources for the screeshots, and it's a bit buggy 
. OD takes many resources to and you can not have a screen when the widow is not minimized
