i reli wouldnt no, but it seems quite unlikely to work

there are several programs (like windowfx) that can make programs transparent, so what would this do differently?

LOL Good job!!!.. That worked.. (Y) :rule: :woot:

Heh... Just didn't think of trying it before...

And as way of thanks a screenshot..

Thanks for the help too grim53 gonna search it out.. would be nice to be able to set transparency from within the skin when I felt like it (mini mode).. also always on top would be sweet .. (we can dream can't we..:/)

EDIT: Hold back the party, it works great if you enable windowfx transparency after opening media player. Having it enabled and then opening media player presents you with both the skin and normal windows (boh transparent though..:P).. Oh well back to the drawing book.

Yeah I think it is.. One of those Apple Cinema walls (adjusted to proper 1600x1200).

Thanks for the support for the transparency.. not too sure how far I'm gonna get with this.

Nice Windows Media Player skin, where can I get it? ;)

A word of warning - Windows Media Player doesn't handle transparency too well - it makes it very very slow and unresponsive, unless you do it in hardware...

This comes from all the time I spent working to get my skin looking right. <_<

That's right. It gets a little unresponsive.

Other than WindowFX, you can always try it using Glass2k. Works fine as well. ;)

@Stevie: Yes... that's a great WMP skin by you.

Oh thanks for the Glass2k suggestion.. I used to use it before winroll but grabbed the latest copy and seems to work great. As for responsiveness I notice very little change and I have to say transparent visulisation does look sweet. :D . Glass2k is nice because you can also set always on top if needed, that plus the fact you can load media player after glass2k unlike with WindowFX.

As for your question Stevie BM it really is a great skin and perhaps the best in both design and functionality (like my album art).. although I can't quite remember where I got it from hmmm.. :moon:.. heh.
