Aqua-Soft Forumsi was in search of a program for xp to change wallpaper like Apple does. and i came across this program called Wallpaper Manager. its a great. its free. you just find a folder with the pictures you want to show up on your desktop select it and choose the option of fade. and watch your desktop wallpaper fade in and out while working on your computer just like apple. check it out at Wallpaper Manager

Mine won't fade. I would love it if it did.
your suppose to click on the option in "settings" where it says FADE
The site won't come up for me...anyone else having trouble seeing it?

And did that work for you? All the other options work for me but that.
No, doesn't fade for me either. Also, there doesn't seem to be an option to stretch the wallpaper to fill the screen

Scratch that, I did get it to fade. Just reboot.
It looks good except that the desktop icons have to reload each time it fades, which is a bummer.

I used that app a long time ago, but like mentioned, it hides the icons while fading, and it doesn't stretch the wallpaper to fit the screen. Two elements I do not like at all.
You need a program called, "Vital-Desktop" you can get that via http://www.vital-desktop.com" and you need to get a screensaver called, "nostalgia" and i can e-mail them to you if you PM me...
