yes and the apple key will work as the windows key, only prob is the cord is short! so u might need an extension,

Is there any osrt of modding that needs to take place, or just plug it in and go?

i tried on xp, and it is plug & play, I think it is detected atfirst as apple pro keyboard, and then to other type of device. As timan said, the cord is too small, you might need an extension. the mouse also works, but it only has 1 button. I heard logitech has an application or something to use a press click as a right-click
