Aqua-Soft ForumsI brought a laptop a while back, only I didn't notice that the headphone socket/audio out(?) was broken off! Being a laptop, I can't find the replacement sound card for sale, i'm not too familiar with the inside of a laptop either... I'm mostly a desktop pc user (until I can afford a nice iBook). I've heard of usb audio in/out devices. Does anyone know of any of these, that work for the pc instead/as well as the mac, that they know will work with headphones and not also play the audio out of the speakers, though the sound card?
Sorry that it's a bit of a run on question, but I can't think how else to put it...
The damage to the sound card, is that it works perfectly, but the partially plastic outside of the socket has come off, and the metal pins inside are bent out of place.
Has anyone got any recommendations?
