Aqua-Soft ForumsI have to do a PowerPoint presentation on a laptop running Windows 98 (I'm on XP), and it doesn't have several of the fonts that I'd like to use on it. I was wondering - is there any way to easily install a font? Can I just drag them from "Fonts" in my Control Panel to a CD to burn, then drag them off and onto the same "Fonts" fikder on the laptop (if there is a "Fonts" folder in '98). Or is there an easier/harder route?

I usually go to Font Folder > install font > open up the file.
simple stuff.
Lol I always use Bitstream font navigator, but then thats just me! It helps having an app like that when you have a catalogue of 2000 ish fonts lol!

That would be good to have if you have to "manage" many fonts.

but anyway, having a lot of fonts shouldn't make installation a problem; unless the person wants a way to install a lot of fonts at one time in an easy way?
I still say that as it stands, the font folder makes for easy installation.
apologies, it is mainly for management purposes that i use bitstream.
I just prefer not to have my entire catalogue installed at once cause it makes for a lot of memory usage in photoshop etc.
