There must be errors in your script somewhere, because if the Samurize editor can't parse the vbs file it refuses to display any function.
go back and check over the code in your vbs file. Otherwise, replace it with your original desktopweatherxml file and try again. 
Okay I'll just redownload your multipod file and use that weather script with no edit and see if the same thing will happen again..

at first i have say i'm totaly new in samurize things....just startet a few days ago to try this app.....really happy with what i got until yet...
but one prob....thats because i'm writing in here....
i want to run an weather app....but dont know how to usw this XML file....is there
any solution for german "weather-conditions" ??? cause when trying the steps given in the XML file a get an error on this website....
so any ideas which could help me???
killaart, it's a vb script.
i'll walk you through the set up of the weather script (i assume you're using v1.3).
1. configure the script.
-make sure the paths and locations are correct, in particular, the location of the samurize folder and skins/scripts, etc. make sure you also specify the proper instance name (e.g. "instance default").
-configure the other options like whether to restart the client or not, to kill the icon, etc.
-configure the location id.
2. open up the config and go to "add active script" and add the function "getcachefiles." test the script. it should read "true" if you've set it up properly. if it doesn't, you must reconfigure the script. if it says "true," proceed. now you can either delete the word "activescript" or change the alpha transparency so it doesn't appear on your desktop.
3. now add the meters. add a temp meter and see if it works by testing the script again. it should give the correct time. if you want to add the images, go to add png, and add the temp images (called temp_0 or something like that. 0 means today, 1 means tonight or tomorrow or something, etc.).
4. if nothing seems to update, go into the script folder and delete the temp xml files (.xml). then restart the client or reload and see what happens.

hm....i think the script itself works now....but i dont get a locid from this webite...
if i try the german weather-site it works but no locid
do i have to change the website url in the script? or vbs file??
it seems that i have an older version of this vbs.....where can i download the 1.3
cant find it on samurize.com
