Problems With Many Apps

Before you say "Why didn't you search?", I have but with so many things to solve and so many threads that don't answer my questions, it would be quicker and more productive to roll all the questions into one post.

Firstly: I've tried to use Felix7 Brushed but is keeps saying I need to reinstall it (just running the file in the zip folder) as it can't find cncs32.dll (I think that's the filename).

Secondly, I've been looking for a way to use mac sized icons on the desktop (I've converted a load of icons to winxp format using Axialis), I found a hack that is supposed to do it but it just ends up cutting half the icons off.

Thirdly, Does anyone know where I could get an address book program as I'm having trouble finding one?

Fourthly, I minimised Font Book earlier and now I can't actually move the mouse over the taskbar, I have to use the keyboard shortcuts (even though I've killed Font Book). Is this a well known problem I didn't know about or is it one that needs checking up?

If I come across any more problems in the next few minutes while I browse AquaXP I'll be sure to edit this post and add them, ok.

to make the icons bigger go to display properties, then appearance then advanced. then click on tiems and go down to icons (next one down) and u will see size,and just change it.

Thanks for the help, I'm using Samurize to do the few shortcuts I need. (I didn't want the icons in My Computer to be huge just those on the desktop.)

The Address Book has been a great help, I don't have to keep looking through my phone for peoples e-mail addresses.

you will have iconz at 128 wherever the view is set to 'icons,' as in the desktop, but also in 'save as' dialogues as well as the start menu.

make sure you switch to small icons in start menu properties.

get tweakui and get rid of 'recent documents' and whatever else in the save as / open dialogue boxes... play around with tweakui and you'll figure it out.

set your regular folders such as my docs to view as tiles, or whatever you prefer, and you're set.

and don't forget to restart when you play with icon settings
