did u get the idea from the old G3/4 cubes or are they releasing a G5 cube?

ive seen these, there fake. but very cool! any chance of getting these converted in to icon format?
edit:yes i was refuring to the subject, there are no g5 cubes, and probably never will be. sorry for the confusion.

i maked in yesterday with the 3d studio max & Photoshop..
i think he meant that the g5 cube is fake, not the icons. which look very good
this is very offtopic, but i had to say it. alexmak, you have possibly the coolest username ever. i used to watch that show all the time (Y) if it has nothing to do with the show, then just nevermind this post. :shy:
On this board about a week ago, there was a post to a link where someone modded a cube to look like the new g5's.
There is no g5 cube, yet there is a cube to be made to look like a g5, in the link, there were detailed instructions on how to make a cube look like that. Pretty cool IMHO

And the reason for discontinuing the G4 Cube was because of heat problems. A G5 creates much more heat than a G4. Have you seen the heatsyncs in a G5? They are huge! No change for a G5 Cube sadly.

Well personally i believe the "cube" design should stay for pc. That would be a tight ass mod, but how many people would actually show up to a lan party....or anything of that nature with a mac? no one i dont think, they would get their ass's kicked. lol, that would suck. but like i said, that would be one of the sickest mods. + you could get a heatsink to disperse the heat [ i have a huge heatsink on my mobo "zalman CNPS700A-Cu"] in my shuttle. so it can be done, just a little patience.

the G5 has holes made for cooling though, so it wouldn't be as much a problem as the G4/G3 cube.

i must correct u wiz. Cube was discounted cause it costed a fortune (for that money u could buy a PowerMac!)
heat was not (much) of a prob for Cube 
great icons but i doubt that Apple will make a Cube that would be a minnie-me PM G5, something better is cooking (just read my sig )
