Another Lame Question About Itunes

Which codec did Itunes use to rip MP3 from a CD? Thera any way to use LAME codec instead? (I did warn that was a Lame question!). :rolleyes:

I used to use CDex to rip cd´s... i set it on VBR, High, from 128 to MAXbps. Which setting do you recommend for Itunes to get the almost same result?

I try to rip at an higher quality consisting of:

Bitrate: 192kbps VBR

Sample Rate: 44,100kHz

Channels: Stereo

Stereo mode: Normal

Smart Encoding Adjustments

I think it would be possible to let LAME do it, but that would need coding
