I use yzdock and same thing happens if I'm playing a game while the dock is running. So just exit the dock before launching the game and reopen it when you're done playing. Its just two clicks.

check options or settings i use object dock and it has z ordering so it will keep its annoying A$$ on the desktop

so i guess object dock is the only one that keep its self at the desktop at the moment.. hmm...

man i wish objectdock and mobydock had seperaters like y'z dock

adding seperaterd in objectdock is makes it look a bit forced..

I always thought that moby had Z-Ordering! (?) :banging:

If not use OD 1.0 (Its reasonably good)

btw OD 1.0 has an easier way to add seperators... (just R-Click, Insert, New Separator)

the seps in od still suck.. hehehe.. can't beat the y'z seps..

anyway i found a problem to get around this problem.. witht he dock coming back up and all so it really doesn't matter what dock i use.. i started a thread about this.. and i also contacted the author of the program to make a few adjustments to it because of certain games..

but all it does is close the dock when the shortcut is open and once the program terminates then it opens the dock.. http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/index.php?showtopic=11119

Why? I don't see any difference!

I've never had that problem with games and Mobydock. Odd.

My big beef with Mobydock right now is if I try to remove or move icons from the dock, it crashes. My big beef with OD is I CAN'T MOVE the icons (and no, the icon locking is not on). It's wierd, once I create a shortcut, I can move it to either end of the dock but nowhere in the middle. It's like the icons won't move out of the way to let the new one in.

So...I use Yz's (again)....best damn dock yet.

Try this:

Open explorer or a program, now try moving your icons, works? Yeap! Is like, in order to organize your dock, you need an open task in the dock.

I don't know if it is a bug or a feature but that's the only way to move them.
