Nokia 6600 (symbian Os)

well, my hand is like ripped off of a 90 years old: you can't use it to do anything beautyful... but what about the talented skinners in here? What about doing some skins for the symbian os (nokia edition)?

I would love to see my nokia showing me some Snow *hehe* or some iBars *heeehehe* or if some Panther *heeeehehehehe!!!* could lurk around somewhere in the display...

no, let's get serious: the Symbian OS offers high quality skinning features. all icons, logos, graphiphics can be skinned, this would be a nice thing to do. if someone could have a look at that, this would definitely spice up some users life!

Schaggo, I have an N-Gage (Series 60 platform too). Could you point me to some icon-replacing and skinning proggies or web resources. I'll look into aquafying/pantherizing/metal-brushing that =)

the Symbian platform supports that natively! well, at least the 6600 ones does. I try to post some screenshots of my phone and how it looks like. maybe I will start skinning it and become a skinner, eventhough I think it would be better of others with experience would touch that field, if you know what I mean... <_

Only the 6600 supports skinning because it uses Symbian 7, whereas other Series 60 phones (n-gage/7650/3650) use Symbian 6.1 Someone was making an icon-replacing program for 7650, but I don't know if he ever finished it.

The Nokia theme's and T610's weren't created by myself, Although I said I was making a port of my P900 theme.

I even said "Not ports, but the best I could find..."

well, then I'm sorry, I assumed you were the creator of those themes. I'm currently using another theme of the creator of the blue one with the aqua-like guy... IMO the best themer around, some kind what Iceman was two years ago
