that's common tasks, not the menu bar. there's no setting inside windows that will remove it.

I think objectbar is the best way because if you hide it any other way you don't get access to it unless you unhide it. With objectbar at least you get it at the top of hte desktop like the mac. Which is what we are\should be aiming for here.

you can still access those functions after reshacking. the hack simply moves and hides it.

but definitely, objectbar is the easier method.

You have to have the registered (Paid) version of ObjectBar to hide the menus

Go into the theme editor

Then click File>General Options

Then check.....

Hide menus of application when a replaceable section is present

...and hide moveable menus from Explorer and IE windows
