Naw ,, Keep it fairly simple and you will not even know its running - but different bars made by different artists could each and all run differently .
[ Moved ] I think it goes here. ![]()
OF course it takes a lot of memory and hogs all your cpu even if you are using an Athlon64 because stardock is evil!
JUST KIDDING
With most menubar skins it pretty much doesn't take any more than the task bar. Though if you get a theme that is loaded up with complex skins and bars of course it'll take more. I use it all the time and my computer is old and it's ok.
thanks guys for replying.. ![]()
so I guess I'll give it a shot ! :woot: wanna try thoes great crni skins !!

even though the stardock fanboys wont admit it. A lot of people have major issues with objectbar.
There's times will it will run for days, very smoothly, and there are also times where your computer grinds to a halt, because for some reason or another it decides to use 99% of your CPU threads. Doesn't matter if your clicking on stuff or not.
I use it for screenshots only.. *shrug*
thanks deleted for reply,
So what do u do instead ? do u just leave you taskbar at the toop of the screen ?
after a while it gets boring !!
Although I didnt mention this before but I've used it and noticed that my pc became slower !! ![]()

Ya, i just use the normal windows taskbar. If you have a decent WB/style it still looks ok.
Besides, you really don't need Objectbar on a daily basis. It really is just for screenshots and looking the 100% mac look. As long as my taskbar is skinned, along with all my apps, i'm happy enough. *shrug*
Same here, OB looks cool but really doesn't do anything to help my daily operations. The opposite is more true. Fact is the taskbar is a well designed piece fof work which is fast and functional. OB can be slow and even annoying at times though it does look cool. ![]()
