add this to your user.js file:
user_pref("browser.chrome.site_icons", true);
user_pref("browser.chrome.favicons", true);
actually, I can't find user.js even after a search....?
create it then.
can you get that backgroung added to it without having to use a theme that will apply it to all the screens?
I also would love to know where to create the user.js file ?? Thanks for the help everyone.
wherever it was supposed to be but wasn't
you need to create user.js inside:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Phoenix\Profiles\default\random string.sit
so the full path to user.js should be:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Phoenix\Profiles\default\random string.sit\user.js
just create a new text file and rename it to user.js.
here are some more tips: http://texturizer.net/firebird/tips.html
and you can also create userchrome.css and usercontent.css in the chrome folder. these typically deal with appearance settings.
there is other code that you can put in that will alter the behavior of the browser, such as speeding it up, disabling certain features, etc.
yeah thanks man, works great
no problem, guys. ![]()
i dont have an application dat folder, any idea why?
EDIT
It was hidden, nm. Thanks for the semi-tutorial!
Best way to get to your firebird profile folder is to:
1. Go to start menu, Run.....
2. In the "Open" field, type "%appdata%" and hit enter
3. Navigate to your profile folder - it's in the Pheonix folder.
Good luck!
