We can't even discuss where to get it from. The author of the program discontinued it and forbids redistribution. The owners of this board want to abide by his wishes. Apple gave him a "Cease and Desist"
Apple doesn't forbid Yz Dock's redistribution, Mr. Yamaguchi does. Therefore it is Mr. Y's wishes. He could have told Apple to piss off, but he didn't. Therefore, they are "his" wishes, not Apple's.
The owners of this board forbid posting links to Yz Dock, not Apple OR Mr. Yamaguchi.
Mr. Y could have fought the cease and desist (no such order was given to Object Dock or MobyDock- as far as we know). But Mr. Y is from Japan and even being accused of copying someones work (whether it is true or not) brings shame upon himself and his family. That is why Aqua-Soft is so adamant about following Mr. Yamaguchi's wishes. No one here cares what Apple thinks.

Do you honestly think that he wouldn't get the program from somewhere else?
I (or any other member who isnt too stuck-up) could email the link to him, or send a pm with his/ her hotmail aadress & send the file through MSN, or send a link to some flash animation which in the end will redirect the user to a specific rar or zip file.
That's just wouldn't make sence.
So what if the thread will be deleted? Person who was looking for Yz Dock will get it anyway & I doupt that anyone will be banned for answering this thread.

Alang, unless I missed it, you're not hosting Y'z Tbar themes at your site. With DT2's downloads closed to nonmembers (still, I assume), can you fill the gap with hosting? If for some reason you don't already have a bucketful of Y'z themes I think we at A-S could easily provide for you. And if that's all good, how about hosting Y'z Dock backgrounds, too? Or is this beyond the scope of your "appz-only" dOtwac approach? I don't know.

I got some of the yztoolbar themes on my server likes panther theme by goku, milk themes. But like you said, I restricted all my files on my site to applications only. BTW I think to add it on my new site. Expect to be up by 2 weeks from now.....and a lot more stuff too like system files, icons...

all the docks have thier upsides and downsides, its whatever you prefer. i prefer yz btw.

As such, don't request or redistribute it.
If you don't have it already, then you shouldn't be getting it at all.
