Basically, you can drop files into the docklet, then when you need it you click and drag it out. Basically it's cut and paste, or a temp folder. Dunno if it'll be feasible or useful but it's just an idea. Feel free to shoot it down.
[idea] Drop Docklet
I guess it's sort of troublesome. >.![]()
But if someone develops this and makes it pretty... hey, I may consider using it.
Thanks for sharing, Nate! (Y)
didn't someone make that already? like vfolder or something. i remember reading about something like that in one of the threads here.
when i get back from class, maybe i'll try searching for it.
Originally posted by silencedge@Jan 6 2004, 02:37 AMWell, in the sense that you'd require another docklet on your desktop, and you drag and drop files into it. Then when you need it, you need to somehow, open it to find the files you drop. (When you need to drag and drop more than a single file, for example.)
My idea is, you can only drop one "load" at a time, no matter how many files or folders. It'll be filled and you can't drop anything else in it until you "unload" it.
Kinda like the drop stack from Pathfinder. So the idea isn't that original.
@Dreamz: Is this the vFolder you're talking about? ![]()
