I have yet to get the avatars to work and I followed the directions exactly. Take a look at the screenshot in my previous post

but still cannot show up the avatar in Danimator's ichat Av?

that's make me think the danimator's instruction so hard to understand and frustrated!!!!

I couldn't get it to work either, from his tutorial. There were several things that were a little unclear. Did he mean c:/program files/Trillian/Skins/iChat2.0/Images/avatars.bmp or were we supposed to leave out the iChat2.0? Also it mentions an avatars.xml file, which doesn't exist.

Still trying to make it work.

I got it working just fine. Only kicker is, I had a buddy named 'Kris' and a buddy named 'Krissi' so everytime krissi would message me, it'd pick up as Kris and Krissi and show 2 avatars. It took a lot of playing and rearranging the xml to get it to look almost ok. Not really a flaw in his directions, more of a flaw in the way trillian processes the xml.
