[help] Itunes Won't Import/view Cds

I posted in Unbeliever's topic but no-one seems to have noticed.. To quote myself;

In the above Registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CdRom) instead of "AutoPlay" I have "AutoPlayAlwaysDisabled" with the value:

NRC MBR-7

NRC MBR-7.4

PIONEER_CHANGR_DRM-1804X

PIONEER_CD-ROM_DRM-6324X

PIONEER_CD-ROM_DRM-624X

It's really pissing me off because I think it's the reason it won't open any music CDs (not copies) in iTunes, but does so fine in WMP9. Help? :(

have you tried isntalling the latest drivers for the drive? firmware update?

It has the latest drivers I believe.. I'm not entirely sure, I'll check that.

The odd thing is I get the AutoPlay options when I put a CD in (including the music CDs I'm trying). I've tried draging and droping, opening from inside iTunes and selecting 'View files in iTunes' from the autoplay selection.

Nothing seems to work.. >_<

Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

I guess it must be a firmware thing for most of us... still there must be a registry hack for this in general?
