Someone didn't read the whole site and got my hopes up... <_<

Before continuing, you should also be aware of some requrements for running MOL:

    – A supported PowerPC™ CPU (604[e], G3 or G4)

    – Linux/ppc

    – A 2.2 or 2.4 kernel

    – MacOS 8.6* or later (9.2.1 is known to work)

thats not entirely true, the 604 processors didnt support OSX and neither do some of the very early G3's. they're both PPC enhanced.

anyway, thanx chris for the info, i can pretty much guarantee that untill apple release a version of OSX that is G5 enhanced we will not see OSX on x86. my reason for saying this is the G5 uses a processor almost identical to one that can run XP. however like always apple has hardware securities built in that OSX looks for to run. so even though the processors are similar it will take a rather nice piece of reverse enginering to make it work.

i just read the site.. says it supports upto 10.2.4 <_< . otherwise y was it even mentioned.

Q: Does it run on i386 hardware?

A: No, MOL can only run on PowerPC hardware since no emulation is performed. However, adding a PowerPC emulator for x86 is under consideration.

mayb there is hope (Y) .

Listen. If this was possible, why would this site even exist?

Why would someone want MOL? Maybe because they like to use Linux, but have to use OSX every once in a while for the apps that haven't been ported.

Sheesh, is it so hard to believe people would rather use Linux instead of OSX? I made that choice.
