do you think that it's possible to integrate the Icons or part of the style to the XP-Instalation CD?
I just copy my windows cd on mypc and had search a little bit, and find that the files are named for example:
NETID.DL_ --> netid.dll
MSTSCAX.DL_ --> mstscax.dll
Do you think this are the same files and I could replace them if I change the name?
Has anybody made experience with this?

Yes, but doing so and distributing or even creatin an clone installer of XP will be breaking 154* laws out there.

I don't want to distribute it, it's just for myself that I make a copy.
It's just the same thing than integrating the sp1 to the installcd.
the .dl_ are .dll compressed with a microsoft compression, i don't remember how you can decompress it, maybe it's .cab, just try

google modifype
copy it into %windir%\system32
run> cmd
type: modifype
copy the file into xp's i386 thats it
easy aint it (Y)
then use iexpress or makecab command to compress it back before including in i386

I have another question, how can I integrate another style to the installation, I want to erase the luna style (I found where it is) but I don't find where the shellstyle.dll ist saved on the install cd.
