franziose
I just copy my windows cd on mypc and had search a little bit, and find that the files are named for example:
NETID.DL_ --> netid.dll
MSTSCAX.DL_ --> mstscax.dll
Do you think this are the same files and I could replace them if I change the name?
I think I will try this in the upcoming days.
//edit
I will open an extra thread I think this is better.

Congratulations to Stefanka, you are always the best.
I go away for sometime and you realize your mastepiece!
I have only two simple questions:
1) quote:"I think the only way to translate, is if you open your Files in Resshacker and than copy the Stringtable and the DialogText and paste it into my files".
Is this possible for other languages different from English? Are the XP OS structure
and filenames the same?
2) are these files suitable for XP Home edition SP1?
Thanks if someone will reply.

The files are the same. Only the language is diferent.
Thanks StefanKa for your prompt reply!
Regarding XP HOME SP1, do you think that your files are suitable?
If not I'll be obliged to buy XP PRO...

yes, it will work just update your system with the newest files from MS and apply Stefan's Files
Ok, thanks for reply.
I have just started the manual translation in italian.
The operation is quite annoying but I have a little tip
that will increase the speed of operations:
open TWO instances of ResHacker.
In the first open StefanKa system file and in the second
the original XP file.
Now with quick and simple COPY and PASTE the work will run.
Ok, ok, it will always take a lot of time, but I think this is a good
method.
One last question: I have a regular copy of XPHOME, I have watched
on MS site but I have not understood which files I must download to
update my system. Someone can help?
Thanks again friends.

Sorry if this is not the right place to ask. In this case, excuse.
You must resize the DownloadDialog. I have all my Dialogs resize.
@ Stefanka
Excuse, I have not understood.
Where can I resize the DownloadDialog?
I think this info could be useful to other like
me that are interested in conversion but have not
a great experience with reshacking... ![]()

I say everytime, there is no way to do it. This is not so easy Lupner. My English is to poor to tell you how you can do it. The Avi is Individual created for my DownloadDialog.
If anyone send me some Englishfiles, than i will try to convert it in English.
