Trillian And Ob - Help!

hey everyone. To the admins and mods, sorry for posting in general, but didn't know where else to post this.

I am using OB which hides the 'tray'. Therefore I would like to know if there's a way to make a short-cut in object-dock, that would open an existing trillian session, instead of opening a new one. Perhaps a switch at the end of a command line? I really need help for this because it's really annoying.

Thanks in Advance.

I would also like to know if this is possible.

I was searching to see if there were any command line options to show/hide the trillian window for use in ObjectBar and I found this thread. So I didn't make a new one.

I know this is a *very* old thread, but I was hoping maybe someone has found out something since then..ha

But does anyone have any clue if this is possible?

yes it is.. all you have to do is treat the systray in object bar like the systray for the standard windows taskbar.. just set which icons you want to show or hide, and you can always have the trillian icon appear to bring up the buddy list.. what is also nice, is if you reshack the trillian.exe, you can input the ichat status changes , and you will have a fully functional ichat icon for trillian.

simple as pie

Well see, the tray icons can only be 16x16.

I'm trying get Trillian to show when I click on the iChat "icon" - it's actually a .bmp file- instead of having to show the system tray.

i know.. you cant use the icons that are to the left of the systray, if you reshack trillian, objectbar will upscale the systray icons, so the trillian icon will look exactly like the icon to the left of the systray, same size, but with more iChat agent's ability of showing status (if you reshack the status changes in trillian.exe)

and what i did in my own set up, was to change the "min/max" systray slider, to an apple toolbar icon (like the screen properties icon) so it appeared like an actual mac.

if you notice in your own screen shot, the trillian icon is just as large as the bmp files.. trust me, it works.
