Request: Osx/ Mac Theme

Well I've looked through almost every theme for icon packager there is on wincustomize, found one that was called X-aqua - the closest thing to mac, but the current theme didnt include package file :( anyhow.. are there some more osx/mac/aqua.. blah.. icon packages out there? which one's do you use?

ps. some users have very HUUUUUUGE and nice icons - how can one do something like that?

Iconpackager can get you bigger icons... Simply goto settings>general and you can change the pixel size of the icons.

Alternatively, if you want bigger icons, you can always download DesktopX...

You get additional mouse-over effects as well. ;)

As for Mac-look-alike IP sets... I've never exactly came across any 1:1 themes before. Perhaps it's better to get icons from all sources, and come up with one yourself. Tedious, but definitely highly personalized.

Good luck and have fun modding! :who's your daddy:

Thank you for the somewhat quick reply. I am currently using Iconpackager to enlarge my icons, but I want more.. BIGGGERRRR!!! :P Though at the moment mixing my very own theme seems to be the only option.

You mentioned something about desktop x - what exactly does this program do? I am too tired to install it at the moment. + Is desktop x worth using/ installing? :)

The answers to your PS question lies in the ICONS forum. There are several threads about HUUUUUUGE icons already which have very specific instructions and detailed advice. Search in there (be sure to set the date to 'anytime') and you will not be disappointed, I promise.

ji eun is right. There are icons out there already.

DesktopX is but a much simpler way of getting what you want. Simply point and click just like the normal windows interface, and changing variables to whatever you want it to be like. ;)

Here's something revolutionary you can do with DesktopX.

And of course, I believed you've seen much nicer ones on the DOTM section by our other talented members here. (Y)

If you want more information, you can always pop by at Stardock to take a look.

Not a bad application. At least it gives you the Active Desktop feature which Windows promised, but didn't deliver. :6

The only bad thing is, you've got to pay for it. :(
