I like this one REM (Sticky Notes). It's free and simple. Just place it in the folder which is in the "PATH" variable and type "rm Just anything you want..." I doon't know is there any description in english but it's really simple

I use Stickies 4.5b, with a skin someone here on the forum made, looks great! Search the forum for "stickies 4.5b" and you should find the skin.

It's simple.

Put a rm.exe file to then windows directory (or any that is in PATH environment variable). Then open "Run..." dialog and type "rm any text you want to stay on desktop"

And a sticky note must appeares on a desktop.

Second:

- You can click on "pin" picture - it is closes a note

- You can click on botton of the note - then it's rolled up - become a "tube"

- And You can click on then upper leff corner - it's triggers "stay on top" state of the note.

- You can drug it if you click-and-hold on any area of a note

And if You click it with right button - then authors homepage must open (but it was in russian and not available now)....

Sorry for my english

PS The note can't be transparent - it's really old prog but i like it and use it.

PPS You cannot edit a text in the note - just close and retype you want

PPPS In fact you can edit a text :naughty: it's can be found in "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\" node of the win registry and after reboot a new text appeares on the desktop
