Always On Top ?

I got a problem with OD (i always had it) it's that it won't stay on TOP:

- I onpen OD, it's on top no problem

- I open an explorer without being on OD's bar, it stay on top

- I open an explorer with the mouse on an icon of OD (winamp for example), OD is in background

- I open a new explorer without beeing on OD'bar and it'll be in background... i have to close OD and reopen it to make it on forground...

it's the same with all other application, i don't know if anyone has the same problem??? i tried to reinstall it, change the settings... nothing to do it will stay in background and it'll even stay UNDER samurize:

so this is a message to the developpers :cry: :cry: pleaz help meeeeeee cause it's fu***** enoying!!

First of all, which version are you using and have you selected always on top? It appears you have always on top selected for samurize also, and that's probably overriding the OD. I've never had a problem with OD staying in the foreground when I used it that way, but now I use normal window z-ordering and it stays in the background until I move my cursor over it it appears in the foreground, so I only see it when I need it.

i'm using the 1.0 release version but i had the problem with the previous versions.

i'm not stupid, i'll not report this bug if i haven't selected "Always on top" in OD <_< <_<

And with samurize, i selected "pinned to desktop" and not always on top. (using Samurize 1.0)

i never had problem with YZdock or MobyDock...

I never even insinuated you were stupid, your question was devoid of critical information and I was simply trying to get more info to help. 9 times out of 10 problems like this are usually simple user error. Besides, this is the wrong place to ask the "developers", try the objectdock newsgroups and see if anyone else has had the problem, if it's a legitimate bug that would be the best place to address it, but I have been using it all day the way you described and have had no problem with it, stays on top no matter what. If it's not a bug, go back to Y'z or Moby if you haven't had problems with them.

i never tried the newsgroup, maybe is it the occasion to learn how to... (i'm still a ****... :cry: :cry: )

it seems i'm the only one who have this kind of problem... now that i use OD i can't come back to YZ or MD... i got my config with my little docklets... MD doesn't support docklets

I'll try another time with YZ but i had trouble with graphic freez
