Folder Labels?

hi. ;)

is there a way to have Folder Labels in windows Xp. i mean maby making an app or something. to have it just like Mac OS X, what do you think ?

is it possible ? it is not ?.

"it is not only beautyful but very useful, i think.".

Btw. i was encrypting a folder and then it turn its label`s font into Green. and now i can find it faster. you know, if this kind of tricks can be done why can`t we do some sort to use Folder Labels?.

as you saw when windows nt encripts a folder it turns the label green. get tweakui (microsoft.com/windowsxp) and you can change the colors. it changes the color of a compressed file/folder blue. all my folders/files are compressed (i have 4 gb on my xp hdd. 30gb on my other hdd and i don't have the time to transfer windows xp to my other hdd)

that isn`t the solution coz that only can change the font`s colors in zipped files .... and i think it would be cool have colored labels in here. ;)

anyone else ?

no i mean that if you right-click a file, choose get info (or properties), click advaced, and choose encrypt or compress it will have it's color changed. you can customize those colors with tweakui. this is so old that it even was in nt4.
