Avis Anim : The Good Format?

Hi all,

i'm trying to make my own animations for the download, delete, recycle... but i can not manage to have the same video format that the original AVIs have...

I know it's a codec from Microsoft (strage isn't it?? )

the file information i got:

Vidéo : 63 Ko, 517 Kbps, 20.0 fps, res. 272*60 (4.53:1), mrle = MS RLE, Supporté

i tried to make my own video with flash in the first time to make a short simple annim, then i can't manage to have the right file format so i tried to use VirtualDub to put it in RLE compatible but i can't make it... VD is telling me that it can not manage to set the output size!!!

so maybe i'm i doing something wrong... maybe i'm i "mr. hankey"ing myself for nothin...

i like making my own animations too ..

why dont you try Ulead gif animator ? Or Gif movie gear ?- personally i combined both programs to get a good overall result .

Both of them are very simple and you can export your animations to

any Avi ( including the windows ones )

Talking about metrics .i dont remember now the precise metrics of each specifical animation but ( I have them at home..)

my problem is not metrics, it's more the codec...

with Ulead gif animator you can chose RLE as the compression codec?? would be nice!!

is it free??? cause i don't have it... i had an old ulead photo with my scanner bur no animator...
