ok i was hear a while a go and found a thread that had a link to a tar.gz file that had about 2000 png icons, in sizes from 16x16 upto 128x128. there were mac os x style.
i was woundering if any body knew where there was a link for it.

Yeah, you'll have to go dig up (and revive) that thread by Gill Bates and PM some of those people who were hosting it. They're in massive .rar, so it'll be super difficult getting them by email.

I know. But what's wrong with them? Aren't we here to talk and help each other? Isn't it nicer to receive personal answers for your questions? Come on, these posts don't have 10MB each and it's all about strenghtening our community by conversation

I agree that people should look first, but i dont think these files are still online,
so its one thing to tell people to search, if that will get them the answer, but even if he did search (im sure he did) it wouldnt get him a link to the files.
im not tellin n e 1 off, just dont jumt to conclusions that sum1 couldnt b bothered to search.

There will be (edit: 1000) PNGs released by Flyakite (I believe), but at the time of this posting he hasn't released them.
And DON"T email him about getting them! As soon as a few hosts show up, the PNGs will show.

You're so right Pe7er....people here are starting to be perceived as rude and disrespectful. Thats a quote from another community. I wont say which, but its not mud slinging, just the opinion of a couple of people. I like it here, and the ****s will get the picture after a while, but it doesn't need to be crammed down their throats in every thread. Sometimes a personal message might be more appropriate.

Yeah, that thread seemed to be a "let's see how many free hosts we can kill" contest. I actually found the TIFF resources to be more interesting than the icons. As it stands the whole Icon pack is around 10 MB I think. If you're interested in it give me a PM and information on where to send it and I'll try to dig it up.
