Snow For Windows?

Anyone have a program that makes snow flakes on your desktop like this :

That program is for macs I was wondering if anyone has a similar program for windows? Thanks

i remember this app that makes your desktop basically a screensaver. i bet that it could do something like that, now if only i could remember the name.....

Try DesktopX 2.0. There is a free version at http://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/downloads.asp .

Then get the falling snowflakes from

there is a program called Snow for Windows but it looks crappy and 2D and desktopx`s snowflakes r rare and slow falling. I guess we`re out of luck (i`ve been searching for the same thing but no luck yet )

@Unbeliever: you can modify the script to make them fall faster, check it out. AND you can clone the snowflakes (on item list) to create more of them. Try this! (Y)

i tried that pe7er but i just don`t like the way it looks. i think there is even a way to make flakes twist, i`ll find how to do it if u want

No, thanks, i like it the way it looks.

What exactly don't you like here? The colour of the flakes? I know, they're greenish a bit, but I can live with that. Maybe it's possible to replace snowflake images with better ones..?
