Ut2003 Admining. Does Anyone Here Do It?

Im having some troubles setting up my UT2K3 dedicated server. I got it up and running but when I enter a level I have no weapons other that the one you start with. Also no power-ups. ie: ammo or life. If you wanna see what I mean its up now till 9EST. The server is: MetalCrackHouse. Is there a GUI to run things by? I know there some good fourms out there on this but I cant find solutions to my problems on them. Im hopeing to get this all running by this weekend but I dont see all the bugs worked out by then. Maybe next weekend. I gotta get up my FTP to host maps and skins. When everything is ready I will make a formal invite. I have alot planned for this if people are interested. I wanna make it a place for AS and TCPU members to "shoot it out" I need some good help. IM me to talk in real time. CoryIsATM - AOL IM.

EDIT: I just turned off all the bonus stuff so if your running just v2225 you wont need to download maps.

You probably have insta-gib turned on. In insta-gib combat, you have only one weapon, the modified zoom shock rifle-instant kill. Because of this, there will be no weapons, life, adrenalin etc...lying around.

Is there a GUI to run things by?

Make sure you check "enable web-admin" or similar, and specify the port. This will alow you to configure your server from an html-interface. From your network you can go to http://net.work.add.ress:YY where YY is the port you set web-admin to. From the individual machine you can go to http://127.0.0.1:YY or if your hosts file is setup http://localhost:YY. From outside your network, youll need to have port YY forwarded to your ut2003 server is you want to go to http://wan.ip.add.res:YY to manage your server remotely. From inside the game, there are server side programs like mapvote which present a graphical user interface to all users to vote on maps, gametypes, mutators, kicking players... Its highly customizable.

I play bombing run mostly, at 1.35 speed, lowgrav, instagib, with and without translocator. I go by the name [FC]Atraxani, and if you run into me, be very afraid.

Instagib was it. It wasnt in the .ini file but it was in the .bat file that starts the .exe. Thanx atraxani. Ill be pickin your brain to get this runnin for everyone. Ill start a thread on friday morning for suggestions on maps and skins. If you have custom skins you wanna use im trying to get up an FTP so people can get em to me. Or you can post links to them for Saturday. Friday evening I will be trying to stress test the server to see what it and my connection can handle. I think I have a 256 upload speed. About 23kps upload. Ill try to get it all worked out.
