Is There Any Way To...

This May (and probably has) been covered before but is there any way to display icons in Object bars submenus i.e. file---> (icon) New Folder??

I have added Icons in the Apple / Start Menu portion of my bar for things like Log off and Shut down but would really like to add some icons for Newfolder and Find under my File Menu.

P.S. I tried several different searches one this on the boards but came up dry.

Thanks for any input that you have.

I dont think you can because those menus are mostly system generated, and not custom.

This might work for Find/Search.

I figured a way to link the Search Function (Fido Dog):

1 Go to the "Start" button. Find the Search Icon (magnifying glass).

2 Drag it to any folder ( ex. Program Files ). This will create a shortcut. c:\Program Files\&Search

3 Change the name &Search to Search or Find or whatever

4 Drag the shortcut to the Y's dock and in the link box place the site of the shortcut (in this example c:\Program Files\Search

that is it. ( the first time you use search it may take a couple of seconds then it works fast )"

It may require some tweaking to be added to whatever app one maybe using.

As for the "New Folder" function. my guess is it maybe a command parameter for explorer.exe. I'll do some searching to see what I can find out for you
