I don't know how to make dock ( like objectdock or y'z dock) in linux ,use what program to make it??

thanks,I had try "ksmoothdock",but it seem must to be based on KDE,can't be installed on gnome!

There are no KDE/GNOME specific applications.

but you will require the QT libraries, which are usually associated with KDE.

Take the GUI Kernel Config for example. All you need is QT, no KDE.
