Since KazaaLiteCodec Pack gone offline... i started wondering if there are any cooller codec pack on the net to download... there any one that you guys recomend?
The Best Codecpack
Try googling the "nemo codec pack"
Nimo is considered the worst alternative. It messes up your system very easily. My and couple of my friends had to reinstall windows because we didn't get some codecs to work even by uninstalling nimo's pack and installing standalone ones.
So i suggest using ffdshow + others if you need them. If you use media player classic (not the windows one), it gives you a download url whenever missing a codec.
don't remember the name of the codec-pack but you can find it at the doom9 guys.
Really? Geez.. I've only had to install it once, and didn't have any problems with it.
Ah, well, if it sux, it sux.
I haven't yet bothered to reinstall it since my last reformat, I guess I won't be now.
ffdshow is the best
and vobsub for subtitles that are not .srt but .sub
I use BSPlayer 1 as a Player... i just love it.
I´ll try the standalones versions of those codecs, and will try googling the fddshow.
Thanks ppl. ![]()
i use K-lite codec (Y)
works fine, no problems with my system
I try nimo and others before and have some bugs.
codec packs can be dangerous. they're often comprised of hacked codecs and filters. if you do decide to use a pack, it's better to just install what you need.
but i find it's better to just install the main codecs, like divx, xvid, mpg2, etc.
i recently switch over to ffdshow. and it works great.
i had to ditch my previous XviD codec because it was causing explorer to crash in XP.
