Needing Some Help From My Linux Friends

hey guys i'm on dial up and i really to get a resent copy linux for a server for the church that i work for and i dont want to have to pay 50 bucks for one. can one of you guys help me out, pm me and i will see what we can do.

But anyway, dont you have any friends who can dload for you? If not, many computer magazines use to have a copy of a Linux Distro on their cd sometimes.

well i havent thought about the zine thing but as for other to d/l it we are all on dial. i live in the mountians of tennessee, not to many broadband options avalable.

go to a place like almostfreelinux.com or cheapbytes.com. They sell CDs for less than $5.

Look around, there's like 20 different websites that do this.

i'm not too fluent in linux yet, so i'm just going to get whatever you want. i wouldn't know if one's better than the other.

do you just need the 2 iso cd's?

the cd's are finished and i got your address now... i'll mail them from work on monday, not sure if by mail or UPS... we don't get christmas bonuses so we have to find our own "perks" :naughty:
