Weird Problems

I dunno, it's like a bug, but it's not a fatal error. Whenever I add or remove icons from my dock, MD starts acting really sluggish, and I have to restart it and my computer. Is it like a bug or is it just my computer?

I had that problem too, so I'm figuring it was a bug.....probably not the solution you're looking for, but I've had a better dock experience since I switched to OD.

Me too. I think it's a bug. Different things seem to cause it. All I know is once it starts acting slow, I shut it down, wait, and restart it. If I don't wait, it restarts slow.:lol::lol:

just in case you do it... never try to remove a docklet by dragging it off the dock, use the right click on separator..remove to remove it.

also, i don't know why, but i was having tons of problems until i just wiped everything off the dock except the recycle bin(through the items file in notepad) and then added all my shortcuts and since then i've had no problems. maybe that'll help.

moby rules, but needs 3rdpartydocklets.

I had the same bug after either adding or removing a button (but now it works great). If your MD dont want you to remove an icon the normal way (that is crash everytime after you do it), you may edit (eeek) the file dockconfig/items.ini and remove it. Be sure to have a backup in case it fails for you.
