Multiple Users And Multiple Resolutions?

Hola, I normally don't post "****" questions such as the one you are about to read but I love you guys/girls so much I couldn't help myself.

Here is it: I have two user accounts on my windows xp machine. One with all my aquafied xp goodness (my account) and one without (my visitors account). I have my resolution set at 1600x1200 but when my friends, girlfriend, and/or parents come over, they complain the text is too small or whatever. So I want to set the visitor account to use a different resolution. I tried to does this but then when i logged back into my account...I had the smaller resolution and not my normal 1600x1200.

Any ideas?

you can use reschange... just drop a shortcut in your start folder with the required resolution arguments and it'll set that res(it doesn't run after it does that). You'll want to have a shortcut for each user, each with their own appropriate arguments.

the only problem is that you usually would want to adjust specific fonts. If your using windowblinds that should be fine as you can set up dif. fonts per user.

if not i don't know. Maybe there is another way to do it, but this is very simple and is basically resource free.

Make a shortcut to it, in the user's Startup Folder.

Right click on shortcut, go to properties..

After the target.. add the following

-width=800 -height=600 -depth=32
