i've attached a shot of what it looks like. the png is just flat (86,86,86) but it gets rendered as (96,96,96) in samurize. the master alpha level is set to 255 for all the png in samurize config. i just don't understand why its still like this.
Samurize Not Rendering Color Correctly
does this png's color change when you change your background to a lighter color? the PNG may have built in transparency?

edit: oh weird, the png does have builtin transparency. how come it doesn't show up in photoshop?

nope, well the edges are antialiased but the solid area doesn't have any transparency. here's the sample of the actual png.
this is a mod of nate's date samurize config btw.

once a png is saved with partial transparency, photoshop(upon reloading it) will not have the transparent value of it, and call it 100% opaque even though you can see some of the checkerboard through it. Don't know if that's a photoshop bug or something that can't be avoided, but it's what happens.
It's the same for any (or at least most) graphical programs. Once you've added transparency and export the image (or "flatten" or "convert to bitmap") then that because the "default" state and therefore 100% Opacity.
i didn't know that.
all i had to do was just copy and paste into a new pictures then save it. it got rid of the builtin transparency.
thx for the help.
