Welcome Back...

After one day of hell.... We are back, so this is what happened.

Yesturday morning around 1am, the server was taken offline by RackShack, due to the fact some hacker found a flaw in Apache. Well RackShack wanted to restore the server and remove everything off of it. With their slow support it looked as if we could not get a backup. But finally our host was able to grab a backup for our site, and the many others which were on the server. The server has been patched and everything is working as of where it was left off. So we should not have anymore problems.

Sorry for the downtime, we all know some of you guys were going crazy but we're back.

The main page will stay down for awhile till things get fixed there, but the forums will stay opened. Also if the site is ever down again, the backup site will still be up and running. It can still be found at http://www.aqua-man.net/.

I felt like my dog died. I've been reloading /. for hours all day long with nothing to do. My online sites consist of this and /., and other then that, I have no "regular" sites i visit.

I was away for a couple of days and when I came back yesterday it was down. I was confused. Then I went to http://www.twistedcpu.com and found out about it. Well, I am glad everything worked out for the better and things are back. Thank you Tim. (Y)

hey timan put this same backup at aqua-man.net so we have an up-to-date one. btw thanx for the backup. it's only 2 days old (it seems) well i guess i will have to find out about the flaw before i ever use apache again. good thing i use dice.

I'm sorry but I can't agree. Actually I love the way Keith showed his feelings. Images have a lot more expression than the words. Let him go, he's just happy (like everyone I hope) :community:
