Hi all Macians,I am new to Mac and take great interested in swithching my pc to iMac but the most anxious things 'bout it is if it's useful for Home use and is is hard to learn?
and do you think its neccessary to take such a step?
i cannot wait 2 get one cuz of the kool appearance and kook app waiting ahead of me
any ideas?

im pretty sure he's asking if for home use, if it would be useful switching from pc and buying an imac.
but first you have to ask your self, what do you use your computer for... if its for gaming, stick to PC.. but if its for some graphics (can be done on PC to) surfin aroung, loving the aqua interface, office work jsut simple tasks, then sure it can be good for home use.

Yeah,the most important reason for me to switch PC to Mac is the interface of Mac
i know mac can just do few things that can be on done on a PC
i just use it for fun and some simple tasks
Well i have just switched after 19 years as a PC user and i am not looking back, gaming was the only real issue for me. Games seem to be starting to speed up, release date wise and theres always my XBOX. For the first time its a joy to use a computer.

But the biggest thing that stops me from getting a mac, is there's plunty of software, but none that i can "find". Mac's aren't just $2000, they're another $2000 to get them to do what you want. *shrug*
Is it so hard to precheck your post and use proper words instead of abbreviations..? <_<
Things like "2" used for "to" is just lazy chat talk and shouldn't be used on forums (or at least in my opinion).
And if your fine with a not-too speedy computer that can handle every day use then the iMac is great. I'd recommend the 17".
