On the programme: Gates was called more powerful (due to the reach of Microsoft's software) but it also highlighted from interviews how MS has (and usually does) push it's luck in how it expands it's business. It also had a few nice bits of info on Jobs and Apple.

Watched it. I felt like hitting the presenter because he has the most annoying voice I've ever heard. Actually, he spoilt the whole programme. Was interesting stuff though.
The poll is wrong. Wrong wrong wrong.
I don't like microsoft business tactics. And they might not have the most stable operating systems in the world. But they are 50000000000000000000% more powerful then Apple. They own the US goverment. Their operating system is run everywhere and controls all the market share of anything you can think of. They were ruled a monopoly and just laughed. Bar none, they are much more powerful then apple. They have far more money, and money is power. Period.
its not microsoft or Apple, its the individuals.
The fact that people as a last resort got sucked into windows, doesnt mean JOBS is less innovative. Comparing the two, Jobs have done the impossible, possible (the competition is still in tact thanks to jobs).
However, I voted for gates.
Just kidding. I'm going to vote from my two computers at home to jobs: one from the pc being courteous, and from my mac for being a mac luva. (Y)
Without Jobs making (or a least helping) Apple the leading edge to the Computer revolution; IBM wouldn't of needed Gates. Without IBM needing Gates; I doubt he would of made it into the market in enough time for as big an impact as they made over the years.
Glad to see Gates go from almost 40% to below 30%, bwahaha.

I like the apple stuff as much as anyone. I wish I could own a MAC.
But let's be serious. You really SERIOUSLY think Microsoft considers apple a RIVAL? They develop [did] software for their OS. They gave them millions of dollars. They're not afraid of apple at all.
The only true competitor to microsoft is open source. They fear it like they've never feared anything. I haven't seen too many microsoft bashing apple compaigns. But I've seen countless LINUX SUX KTHX compaigns. It's all about the FUD baby.
