gHide is an application which allow to hide / show dock on demand. It adds hotspot to one of the desktop edge. When mouse cursor run onto the dock is hided or showed.
It works only with ObjectDock.

How is this different from the default auto-hide feature built into Objectdock?
@n3urotic: In OD you can't hide / show dock on demand. The dock is always hide or show. I don't know how you but i like to have "always on top" my dock but sometimes it disturbs me (when i have window in max zoom). That's why i've written this app. If you think it's not useful for you don't use it. It's so simple

Umm, this is already built-in to OD 1.0, set the position to normal windows z-ordering an tick the "use mouse activation" box next to it and that's it.

Not trying to be a jerk, but I still don't understand what this does differently, as I said, I have the OD final release, version 1.0, and when I make the settings as I described above, I can have my windows maximized and when I hover my mouse over the OD area it appears on top. If I click a window the OD moves behind out of sight, normal window z-ordering. Unless you can set your program for different hotspots on the screen to make OD appear I don't understand the difference.
Furthermore, as n3urotic had questioned, there is also the auto-hide feature which would hide the dock until you bring the mouse down to it. Only difference with this feature is that the dock stays on top for a few seconds until it hides again.
I'm not knocking you for writing this app, I think it's great that people spend their time and effort to bring us helpful little things, I'm just trying to understand what difference there is here if any at all.
