After some talk with my dad he propsed me to buy a "transitional" notebook untill May/April when i will buy Athlon64 w/ R9800XT(he will use it later for his job). We found DTK FORTIS F4 M9E
that has:
• Intel® Pentium® 4 processor 2.66GHz C512
• 15.1 inch TFT panel (1400x1050)
• VGA ATI M9 64DDR
• 256MB DDR
• 40GB 8MB cache 5400
• CD RW / DVD ROM combo
• LPT, 4 x USB, IEEE 1394
• 56K V.92 modem
• 10/100 NIC
After doing lots of googleing i found that it uses Intel 82801DB (ICH4) chipset and overall the specs look fantastic for a price tag of 1260 euros (here in Serbia it`s a good price although i know that prices r much lover in the US) but i`m concerned about the quality. i hvn`t seen it in person but on pic it looks crap! (and i found only 1 pic!) It`s my 1st notebook so i don`t know what 2 expect. Does any1 hv any experience with DTK? Do they make crappy products or do they hv decent quality? I`ll probably go tomorrow to check it out in person but i`d like to know what my fav community thinks about this machine.
Thanks
